About Me:
I recently started teaching music where I work, its pretty cool teaching others how to play an instrument but most of my students are better than me now haha! Having played guitar for over 7 years, changing to bass wasn’t to challenging but there’s lots you need to do to make sure that what your playing works with the songs.
Before the apes I played in a couple of other bands, one was a metal band and the other a covers band which was a college project in which I fronted both. Singing harmonies to what Ryan sings can be quite challenging and theres times I think, I’m never going to get this, but I persist and eventually get them, thanks Col =).
Back in my school days you’d find me in most classes with a guitar, actually I think that was Ryan’s case too! The funny thing is, I didn’t really know who Ryan was till I joined and it was his sister who found me…on facebook! But we’ve all had fun playing gigs together and recently we went to America to do a tour out there, we played some really cool places and it was such a fantastic place to gig!

Well like most people, I have MySpace and FaceBook although I tend to use facebook more because it’s a little bit more grown up with respect to contact friends although saying that, its handy being able to contact bands that we’ve met at gigs and talking to fans of the band, so I guess they’re equally useful!
Bio:
I was never really into music until I was about 11, up until then I was a computer game geek! I think I must have had just about every console imaginable, then one day I went to the cinema to watch School Of Rock and my little brother said to my dad, “I wanna play guitar”, so my dad bought him a guitar for his birthday and he just abused it. Needless to say I took interest in it, fixed it up and taught myself how to play a few tunes then got started from there.
Influences:
Well I’m into a lot of bands, both old and new. Recently Zak got me into a band called The Foals, they sound kind of indie but with a dance twist to them, I like them a lot actually, other bands I’m into are
